Pigeon Race over the summer period organised by Ian Macpherson brought in £600 prizes for this were gifted by members funds raised will be going to Polio Plus Appeal.

On the 7th of October 2011 at Nerston Golf course home of East Kilbride Golf Club, to whom we are deeply indebted too for providing their facilities to enable the club to raise funds towards East Kilbride Dementia Care  group at Pine Crescent and Toys for Kids. Principle Club Rotarians who put it all together were Past Presidents Jim Moretti and John Cardno & Junior Vice David Brown amount raised initially announced was £4500-£5000 a further report will be forthcoming

Money from our wishing Well project still ongoing two local charities have benefited from monies collected this year.

Barclay and Helen Wales home hosted a Cheese & Wine in aid of Polio Plus raising over £500

Successful Quiz Night raised £1210 for our Toys for Kids Appeal organised by Jim Moretti with 29 teams participating

Another successful Annual Club dance held in the Holiday Inn £400 raised for Glasgow Humane Society 

A very successful AM/AM golf tournament run organised by Jim Moretti John Cardno & David Brown  seen the club  being able to hand over £3000 to East Kilbride Dementia Carers group whilst purchasing 410 presents for Toys for Kids

Christmas Card appeal raised  £560 from Club members

Burns competition seen one of the largest turnouts in recent years

Reintroduction of our Youth Speaks Competition

Frog Night was succesful in raising around £1400 in total with raffle prizes being donated by members
